Today, our company is very honored to be invited to participate in the 6th Global Customs AEO conference hosted by WCO (World Customs Organization).
AEO is the abbreviation of Authorized Economic Operator, that is, certified operators. The AEO system is the core system in the World Customs Organization's "Standard Framework of Global Trade Security and Convenience"，which aims to minimize the risk of customs supervision through the co-operation between customs and customs, between customs and business, and between customs and other governmental departments, so as to promote the security of the global supply chain and trade facilitation, and to achieve mutual benefits for customs enterprises and smooth trade flow. The system involves customs certification of an enterprise's credit status, law-abidingness and security level, and enterprises that have passed the certification are eligible for preferential facilitation measures granted by customs.
Global AEO Conference?
The Global AEO Conference is the highest level global conference in the field of AEO, which is regarded as the largest capacity building activity of the World Customs Organization. 2012 was the first time held in Seoul, Korea, and in principle it is held once every 2 years, and the 6th Global AEO Conference is the first time that the conference is held in China. A total of more than 1,200 distinguished representatives from WCO member customs, international organizations, AEO enterprises, as well as relevant domestic ministries and commissions, local governments, domestic and foreign academic institutions, industry associations, import and export enterprises, etc. from more than 100 countries and regions will participate in the conference.
